Award Winning Waterfront Steakhouse Now Open at Liberty Wharf

DEL FRISCO'S OPENS BOSTON LOCATION WITH $20,000 DONATION AND ONGOING PLEDGE TO CAMP HARBOR VIEW Del Frisco's opened the doors to their first Boston location: a built-to-suit, state of the art, 13,000square foot waterfront space in Liberty Wharf.  Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse, known for its prime steak, fresh-off-the-boat seafood, and genuine hospitality, has created more than 225 local jobs in their new waterfront location. “The Waterfront has emerged as one of the hottest developing areas in Boston, welcoming thousands of people every day to the businesses, museums, restaurants, hotels and a bustling convention center,” said Mayor Thomas M. Menino.  “Del Frisco’s will be another great addition this dynamic area.  I am pleased to welcome them to Boston and I am thrilled with their commitment to support Camp Harbor View.” More than 650 VIP guests attended the invitation-only red carpet grand opening party benefiting Camp Harbor View, an organization created to offer Boston children from at-risk neighborhoods a true summer camp experience. Charity founders, the Honorable Mayor Menino and Executive Vice President of Suffolk Construction Peter Welsh, accepted the $20,000 donation at the ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening. Liberty Wharf, Boston's newest completed development project, will provide a wide range of new waterfront dining options for Bostonians this summer. This $60million, 75,000square foot development is home to four new waterfront restaurants including Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse, Jerry Remys Seaport, Temazcal Mexican Restaurant and Legal Seafoods. These four restaurants have created over 800 local jobs. Liberty Wharf has benefited from a City award of $2.6M funded by Housing & Urban Development  108 funds (HUD) , Economic Development Initiative funds (EDI), and American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds (ARRA). These funds were made possible by the City's Department of Neighborhood Development to assist the developer, Cresset Harborside, LLC with interior build-out costs.
