Project Description

Beacon Communities LLC (“Beacon”) and the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of New England, Inc. (“CCBA” and together with Beacon, the “Proponent”) propose to construct a seven story, approximately 105 foot high building on the Project Site; the building will contain approximately 168,500 gross square foot of area comprising approximately 117 rental apartment units (all of which shall be affordable), approximately 22,000 square feet of basement commercial space that could accommodate an urban grocery store, and approximately 2,350 square feet of ground floor commercial space that will face Washington Street; an at-grade indoor parking area for approximately 20 vehicles for the commercial space, as well as residential amenity spaces such as a resident community room, property management offices, a mailroom, laundry facilities, and a bicycle room that will have storage space for bicycles at a ratio of 1 bicycle/unit and an additional bicycle space for management staff.
