Berklee College of Music Task Force and Public Meeting

Description:

The Planning Department is hosting a joint, virtual public meeting and Berklee College of Music Task Force meeting to discuss the recently filed IMP Amendment to add leased space at 1249 Boylston Street in Fenway and the associated Institutional Master Plan (IMP) Amendment. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an overview of the proposed project. The meeting will include a presentation followed by questions and comments from the Task Force and the public.  

Please note that the purpose of this meeting is different from that of a traditional community meeting, and will focus on the conversation between the Task Force, the development team and members of review agencies present at the meeting, followed by questions and comments from the public.

As part of the development review process, Task Force members work closely with staff to identify the impacts of a project and recommend appropriate community benefits to offset those impacts. Task Force meetings prioritize discussion between the project proponent (i.e. the developer) and Task Force members.
