The Boston Redevelopment Authority d/b/a Boston Planning & Development Agency (“BPDA”) is issuing a request for proposals (hereinafter “RFP(s)”) for up to two licenses for public waterborne activities such as kayak, canoe, and/or paddleboard at the following locations: (1) the Charlestown Navy Yard Waterfront and/or (2) the Little Mystic Channel Boat Ramp. The BPDA is looking for a partner or partners who have experience attracting diverse audiences to engage and interact with the water. The awarded license(s) will be for one (1) season during the summer/fall of 2019 (the “Initial Term”), with the BPDA holding two (2) successive seasonal extension options that may be exercised at the sole discretion of the BPDA. If exercised by the BPDA, the first option term would be during the summer/fall of 2020 (“the “2020 Season Term”); if exercised by the BPDA, the second option term would be during the summer/fall of 2021 (the “2021 Season Term.”)
