Description:
In April 2022 the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) Board of Directors authorized disbursement of $150,000, from South Boston Waterfront civic/cultural space buildout Chapter 91 funds, to the Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture to conduct planning and analysis of waterfront civic and cultural facilities and programs. This meeting is a part of this funded study.
This is a meeting to provide the public with an update on the status of the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture’s Waterfront Space Planning Study as well as report out the initial findings from the Related Beal RFI for 244-248 A Street. The public can expect to hear briefly about the progress the consultant team has made on the Waterfront Study, an updated timeline, and ongoing opportunities for feedback. Participants can also expect to learn more about the feedback received by the Related Beal team and how it will be incorporated into the MOAC process.
The format of this meeting will include a 15-20 minute presentation from the MOAC team followed by a question and answer session. Following the City’s presentation and Q&A period, Related Beal will present their findings and respond to questions. No decisions will be made at this meeting.
