129 Portland Street Public Meeting

This is a virtual Public Meeting for the proposed project located at 129 Portland Street in the West End neighborhood of Boston. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the Small Project Review Application (SPRA) that was filed and its potential impacts. Additionally, the Project is currently under review for a contract for Payment in Lieu of Taxes ("Pilot") which will provide the project a tax abatement under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 121B.

*The Following project description was provided by the Development Team.

"The proposed project at 129 Portland Street is part of the Office to Residential Conversion Program. The proposal seeks to convert the existing office space in the 6-story 28k sf building with ground-level retail located at the corner of Portland Street and Valenti Way in the Bulfinch Triangle, creating 25 new units of residential including a mix of studios, 1-bedroom, 2-bedrooms, and 3-bedrooms. The new residential sf being created totals 22,005 gfa. Conversion requires minimal exterior facade work."

The meeting will include a presentation followed by questions and comments from the public.
