Mayor Menino joined Massachusetts College of Art and Design on Tuesday, April 28th for a groundbreaking ceremony for the college's new residence hall, one of four capital projects scheduled over the next several years. The $61 million, 21-story residence hall on Huntington Avenue will add 145,000 square feet of dormitory and facility space to MassArt. This marks a significant step in the multi-stage development of the campus that will take place over the next ten years. Upon completion, it will allow the college to house 38% of the student body on campus.
