Extended Stay Hotel to Open in Fenway/Longwood Areas

BRA board approves a new $62million, 183 room extended stay hotel at 121 Brookline Avenue. Located adjacent to the LMA, in an area that sees over 240,000 patients annually, this hotel will be crucial for the comfort of patients and their families visiting our world renown institutions. The hotel at 121 Brookline Avenue will provide a mid-priced option to Boston’s hotel market. This new hotel will add 24-hour vitality and new retail space to an underutilized section of Brookline Avenue. This project is set to begin construction in fall of 2011. The hotel will add over 150 new construction jobs and 45 new fulltime permanent jobs.
