More Housing Coming to the South End

Apr 10, 2012

Nine residential units were approved for 1672 Washington Street by the Board of Appeals on Tuesday. This project will redevelop one of the last lots available on Washington Street in the South End by creating one townhouse, 4 duplexes, 4 one-bedrooms, and 4 parking spaces.  Each unit will have elevator access.  The rear townhouse will be built as a modernized version of the jewel box carriage house that once sat behind the Allen House Mansion across the street.
