Apply for Mayor Menino's ONEin3 Council!

Mayor Menino is looking for new members for his ONEin3 Council. If you are or know a 20-34 year old civic minded individual who wants to collaborate on projects designed to engage Boston's young adult population, then read on! ONEin3 manager, Chloe Ryan, is currently accepting applications for the 24-member council through January 25, 2013. The council is charged with using its talent and innovation to identify ways in which Boston can grow as an inviting, connected, culturally rich and sustainable place for young adults.  ONEin3 Council members work to maximize contributions made to the City by the 35% of Bostonians between the ages of 20-34, while connecting with their peers and shaping the city. About ONEin3 Boston:
  • Founded by Mayor Menino in 2004 to serve the more than one-third of Boston’s population that is between the ages of 20 and 34.
  • Connects Boston’s young adults with resources related to home buying, business development, professional networking, and civic engagement.
  • Offers the opportunity to become connected with your peers and impact your city in a meaningful way.

  • Key to the City’s social and economic health, and their presence ensures continued vitality in the City.
  • Attractive workforce for employers, important players in Boston's growing innovation economy, and contribute one billion dollars annually to the City's Gross Product.

  • ONEin3ers are well educated! Compared to the top 25 most populous cities, Metro Boston ranks first for the percentage of people between 18-34 who hold a bachelors degree or higher.
