On Friday April 18, members of Mayor Walsh's ONEin3 Council teamed up with the Marathon Daffodils Project to distribute cut daffodils to the establishments located along the Boston Marathon Finish Line.

Hundreds of contributors and volunteers have participated to plant over 100,000 daffodils from Hopkinton to Boston, along the 26.2 mile Boston Marathon Route.  The Marathon Daffodils Project is a collaborative effort to strengthen the community and preserve the spirit of the Boston Marathon and Boston Strong, while celebrating the arrival of spring to Boston.   

ONEin3 partnered with the Gilbane Young Professionals group to deliver 400 cut daffodils to the Boston Public Library and establishments along the Boston Marathon Finish Line.
