Can't find tax help at the IRS or post office? The Boston Tax Help Coalition is here for you!

The Boston Tax Help Coalition, a partnership between Mayor Martin J Walsh, community-based organizations, the IRS and others, is providing much needed tax preparation all day and evening on Tax Day, Wednesday, April 15.

Tax preparation and deadline extension will be conducted by IRS-certified volunteers as a free service to low- and moderate-income Bostonians.
 
Please bring all your tax papers, a picture ID, a social security card and proof of health insurance to any of the below tax service sites:
 
  • Dorchester House, 1353 Dot Ave, 4 PM – 9 PM
  • Codman Square Tech Center, 450 Washington Street, 4 PM – 9 PM
  • Roxbury Center for Financial Empowerment, 2201 Washington Street, 2 PM – 7 PM
  • Operation Able, 174 Portland Street, 1 PM – 5 PM
  • Coard Building, ABCD, 178 Tremont Street, 10 PM – 4 PM
