Applications for South End Community Benefits now available

Calling all local South End nonprofit organizations: Up to $205,000 of community benefits funding is now available, and we invite you to apply! The Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) Board, approved the Ink Block project on 5/15/12, the Harrison/Albany Block project on 3/2/17 and the Shawmut Avenue/Washington Street Block project on 7/12/18. This resulted in the execution of cooperation agreements between the BPDA and the respective proponents resulting in community benefits contributions totaling $205,000.
Applicants are required to submit to the BPDA a plan that describes how the applicant will use the funds to make the greatest measurable impact on the community. All awards will be subject to BPDA Board authorization and chosen applicants will be required to enter into a grant agreement with the BPDA.
Applicants are required to submit a detailed budget and comprehensive plan describing their objectives and goals if they are to receive funding.
