This is the website for the City of Boston’s new Planning Department, which launched on July 1. The staff and many responsibilities of the Boston Planning & Development Agency have moved to the Planning Department of the City of Boston including planning & zoning, urban design, development review, and real estate divisions. The Planning Department is commencing a community dialogue around seven potential infill housing sites located in the Washington Park Urban Renewal Area:

  • Site 2: 11-13 Catawba Street
  • Site 3: 14 Catawba Street
  • Site 4: 0 & 4 Alpine Place, 52, 54, 56 & 58 Alpine Street
  • Site 5: 68 Dale Street

The sites offer an excellent opportunity for locally based builders, contractors, and tradespeople to create neighborhood housing.
