Project Description
The proposed project consists of two buildings, which will include a total of 43 residential units, artist studios with live/work space, and a shared makerspace. Building One, located at 131 Condor Street, has been permitted (ERT871916) and has commenced construction. Since original BPDA Board Approval in March 2019, the following design changes have been made to the second phase of the proposed project (Building Two) and have been reviewed by BPDA staff through design review: unit count increased from 33 to 36 units; parking has been reduced from 35 to 27 spaces due to a shift in the retaining wall; the footprint of the main building was enlarged to accommodate the additional units; the artist/makerspaces were redistributed in the building, and; the sustainability goals have been adjusted to comply with new codes. The revised plans and a more detailed narrative of the project's evolution have been posted as Additional Information.
