Please note that Fisher College has withdrawn its Institutional Master Plan from BPDA review. Founded in 1903, Fisher College is a private college located in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston. Originally located in Somerville, MA, Fisher College moved to its current location on Beacon Street in Boston in 1939. Today, Fisher serves 820 undergraduates in its bachelor's and associate's degree programs. Fisher College filed its first Institutional Master Plan on May 13, 2015. The IMP proposes the following projects (collectively, the “IMP Projects”): (i) change the zoning designation of 10-11 Arlington Street in Boston to institutional use and associated minor interior renovation; (ii) change the zoning designation of 111 Beacon Street in Boston to institutional use; (iii) add a total of forty-eight beds to existing dormitory buildings located at Beacon Street in Boston numbered 102, 104, 106, 112, 114, 116, 131 and 133 and associated minor interior renovation; and (iv) construct an approximately 2,500 square foot outdoor terrace at the rear of 104-114 Beacon Street, Boston. The IMP Projects add approximately 20,000 square feet of new institutional space for Fisher College.
