Congress Street Bridge Lighting Project

A pre-submission conference on the Congress Street Bridge Lighting Project RFP will be held at the project site (meeting in front of the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum, 306 Congress Street, Boston, MA 02210, on the Congress Street Bridge). Attendence is encouraged, but not required.

The Boston Planning & Development Agency ("BPDA"), in conjunction with the City of Boston (the "City") and the Fort Point Channel Operations Board (“FPCOB”), is issuing a Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for the design of a lighting plan for the Fort Point Channel Congress Street Bridge (the “Bridge”), owned by the City of Boston Public Works Department (“PWD”).

The BPDA is requesting proposals from Consultants or Consultant Teams that have demonstrated excellence in integrating lighting design in urban environments.

The budget for the design and implementation of a lighting plan is $470,000.
