BRA Issues "Solar Energy for Businesses in the Newmarket District" Report

Mayor Menino's goal to bring solar to the industrial heart of Boston has reached an exciting next step.  Through a grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the BRA selected six sites in the Newmarket District for the greatest potential of solar power production.  The survey identified buildings with roofs capable of supporting large (50kW+) solar photovoltaic systems. The roofs of following buildings hold the greatest solar power potential.  Find the full report here.
