Letter of Intent Submitted for Bulfinch Triangle Housing

Developer AvalonBay previewed plans for new housing in Bulfinch Triangle by submitting a Letter of Intent (LOI). This preliminary filing shares plans for a 503 unit residential development with a maximum height of 415 feet and 219 parking spaces on an air rights parcel above an MBTA parking garage adjacent to TD Garden. AvalonBay's next step will be to file a Notice of Project Change (NPC) detailing the changes to a project previously approved by the BRA Board.  The LOI triggers the reconstitution of the Impact Advisory Group (IAG), a Mayoral appointed group of community members, who will review the impact of the project on the public to recommend mitigation.
