Nominations Sought for Four Corners Station Area Working Advisory Group

Mar 17, 2014

Calling Four Corners residents, businesses, community leaders, and property owners!

As part of the Fairmount Indigo Planning Initiative, the BRA is seeking nominations for the Four Corners station area Working Advisory Group (WAG). The WAG will be composed of residents, businesses, property owners, and other stakeholders. Mayor Walsh will be presented with a list of WAG nominees for final selection.

The WAG will assist the BRA, its multi-disciplinary planning consultant team, and other City agencies in developing an Improvement Plan for the Four Corners station area.  This plan will build upon existing City of Boston and community planning processes currently active in the district. The plan will include both physical and economic components. Physical planning will touch on public realm improvements, design guidelines, and development scenarios, while economic planning will address promoting investment and employment opportunities around the station area.

Nominated WAG members should be able to commit to between six and eight two-hour meetings, scheduled through the end of year. The Four Corners WAG is anticipated to begin meeting in late April 2014.

To Nominate a WAG Member: Send a completed nomination form to Jeremy Rosenberger, BRA Senior Planner, no later than Friday, March 28th, 2014. Questions about the process may also be directed to Jeremy Rosenberger.
