The I-90 Allston Interchange Placemaking Study (the “Study”) will provide a critical evaluation of the proposed MassDOT I-90 roadway and transit infrastructure to ensure that it does not preclude a range of successful urban design, economic development and neighborhood planning outcomes in the future. The outcome of the Study will be greater clarity regarding the long term impacts and opportunities of the currently proposed roadway and transit infrastructure, as well as a flexible long-term planning framework which can inform the final design of the work being undertaken by MassDOT.
