Brighton Guest Street Area Advisory Group Working Sessions 3 & 4 Tuesday, October 18, 2011, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm & Thursday, October 20, 2011, 6:30 – 8:30 pm Brighton Marine Health Center, 77 Brighton Ave, Conference Room 1, Brighton The Advisory Group for the Brighton Guest Street Area Planning Study will break into small groups to discuss possibilities for future growth in the Study Area. The purpose of the Study is to examine development scenarios and their economic and physical impacts, with the ultimate goals of creating urban design guidelines; and making recommendations for an appropriate mix of uses, public realm improvements, traffic mitigation measures, and economic development opportunities. Members of the Advisory Group Copley Place Expansion Project CAC Meeting #17 Wednesday, October 19, 2011, 8:00 am – 10:00 am Copley Place, 4th Floor Conference Room The Copley Place Expansion Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC), made up of area stakeholders, including residents, business owners, community organization representatives, and professionals selected by the Mayor as part of the BRA large project public review process, will discuss public benefits. The meeting is open to all members of the public. Members of the CAC Other Back Bay Planning Studies and Developments Merano Public Meeting & 121 Portland Street Public Meeting Wednesday, October 19, 2011, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm CBT Architects, 110 Canal Street Merano: The Boston Development Group filed a Notice of Project Change proposing a 491,700 s.f. building with 230 residential units, 210 hotel rooms, 184 parking spaces and retail and restaurant space. Details 121 Portland Street: Pizzuti Development filed a Notice of Project Change proposing 62 residential units, 44 parking spaces, and 4,000 square feet of retail. Details Dorchester (Dot) Ave. Zoning Update: Advisory Group Meeting Wednesday, October 19, 2011, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm Viet-AID: 42 Charles Street, Fields Corner, Dorchester The seventh meeting of the Dorchester Avenue Zoning Update Initiative Advisory Group will focus on off-street parking ratios for the commercial districts of Dorchester Avenue in Dorchester. Advisory Group members are listed here, but members of the public are welcome. Other Dorchester Planning Studies and Developments BRA/EDIC Board Meeting Thursday, October 20, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm City Hall, 9th Floor, BRA Board Room BRA Board will review and decide on proposed projects.
