The site features a central raised courtyard with building access points above the projected City of Boston Design Flood Elevation. The edge conditions gently slope down towards the waterfront harborwalk using accessible pathways, and native plantings/rain gardens to help control the on-site storm water. Amenities include a dry flood proofed underground parking garage, access to the “urban beach”, and public kayak storage. The project also was nominated as resilience-market leader in 2018 by USGBC to award its sustainable design of green building.
